Installing MailFleet on Windows

What you will install

MailFleet for Windows is a signed setup executable — not a portable ZIP, not a macOS DMG/PKG, and not a Linux DEB/RPM package. Download only from mailfleet.app/download or mailfleet.app/assets/download/.

Two builds exist because Windows PCs use different processors. About 80% of users need the x86_64 installer for standard Intel and AMD desktops and laptops. ARM64 Windows devices — such as Surface Pro X and Snapdragon laptops — need the ARM64 build.

• MailFleet-arm64-setup.exe — ARM-based Windows laptops and desktops
• Signed Windows installer with setup wizard
• License required before activation (1 Year or Lifetime from Pricing)

System requirements

MailFleet runs locally on your PC. Provider credentials and campaign logs stay on your machine.

• Windows 10 or later (matching x86_64 or ARM64 installer)
• 1 GB RAM minimum — 4 GB recommended for large lists and SpamAssassin checks
• 200 MB free disk space for the app and local logs
• Internet for license validation, provider connectivity, and updates
• Administrator rights may be required when running the installer
• Outbound SMTP/API ports allowed by Windows Firewall or corporate policy

Choose x86_64 or ARM64

Installing the wrong architecture will fail or the app will not run. When in doubt on a standard laptop or desktop, choose x86_64.

1. Open Settings → System → About (or press Windows + Pause)
2. Find System type or Processor
3. x64-based processor or AMD64 → MailFleet-x86_64-setup.exe
4. ARM-based processor → MailFleet-arm64-setup.exe
5. Still unsure? x86_64 is correct for most Dell, HP, Lenovo, and custom-built PCs

Download the Windows installer

On mailfleet.app/download, open the Windows section and click the download button for your architecture. Save the file to Downloads or another folder your IT policy allows.

If SHA-256 checksums are published with your release, verify the hash before running the installer.

1. Visit mailfleet.app/download
2. Download MailFleet-x86_64-setup.exe or MailFleet-arm64-setup.exe
3. Optionally verify SHA-256 against published release notes
4. Keep the installer for reinstall or audit if your policy requires it

Run the setup wizard

Double-click the downloaded EXE. Windows SmartScreen or antivirus may prompt on first run — confirm you downloaded from mailfleet.app. The installer should show a trusted publisher signature.

Follow the wizard: accept the agreement, confirm the install location if prompted, and wait for files to copy. Installation usually finishes in under two minutes.

1. Double-click the MailFleet setup EXE
2. Approve User Account Control (UAC) if Windows requests administrator permission
3. Complete the setup wizard and click Finish
4. Launch MailFleet from the Start menu or desktop shortcut

Activate your license

MailFleet requires a valid license on first launch. Purchase a 1 Year ($49/year) at pay.mailfleet.app/buy/1year or Lifetime ($79) at pay.mailfleet.app/buy/lifetime if you have not already.

Enter your license key exactly as provided. Activation needs outbound HTTPS. If it fails, check firewall or proxy rules blocking MailFleet.

• Purchase at pay.mailfleet.app/buy/1year ($49/year) or pay.mailfleet.app/buy/lifetime ($79) before or immediately after install
• No extra spaces in the license key
• Contact support for multi-seat or enterprise licensing

Firewall, antivirus, and corporate IT

MailFleet connects to your SMTP and API providers from your PC. Corporate endpoint security may block unknown executables or outbound SMTP ports.

Share the install path and signed binary details with IT if they whitelist applications. MDM or Group Policy rollouts — contact MailFleet for enterprise guidance.

• Allow outbound HTTPS for license validation and updates
• Allow SMTP/API ports your provider documents (often 587, 465, or 25)
• Do not run unsigned copies from third-party mirrors

Update or reinstall

To upgrade, download the latest setup EXE for your architecture and run it over the existing install. Your local settings and logs typically remain unless you uninstall first.

To remove MailFleet, use Settings → Apps → Installed apps (or Control Panel → Programs and Features), select MailFleet, and uninstall.

• Reinstall with the same architecture build (x86_64 vs ARM64)
• Keep a backup of export files if you rely on local campaign logs

Troubleshooting

Most Windows install issues are wrong architecture, SmartScreen blocks, or network restrictions after install.

• Installer will not run — confirm x86_64 vs ARM64 matches Settings → System → About
• SmartScreen blocks the app — verify the download URL is mailfleet.app
• Activation fails — check internet, firewall, and license key validity
• Provider test fails — open outbound SMTP/API ports; see Adding SMTP Providers
• Wrong OS file — do not use macOS DMG/PKG or Linux DEB/RPM on Windows
