Adding API Providers

Add an API provider

Open Settings → Providers → Add API. Paste your provider API key and label the profile by brand or environment.

1. Choose API provider type supported by your vendor
2. Enter API key and endpoint region if required
3. Document daily quota and rate limits in the profile notes
4. Send a test message to an internal inbox
5. Assign the profile to a campaign or workspace

API keys

Store API keys locally in MailFleet. Rotate keys per your provider security policy.

Limits

Document rate limits and daily quotas in the provider profile for capacity scoring.

Troubleshooting

HTTP 401/403 errors usually indicate invalid keys or wrong region. HTTP 429 indicates throttling — reduce send rate or upgrade provider tier.
